Recycling
Following on from the drive of Ards Borough Council to improve awareness of the importance of recycling AC Tyres now recycles old tyres. Rececycling tyres prevents unsightly fly tipping, reduction in landfill space required and last but not least illegal burning and release of poisonous fumes into the atmosphere. |

The Recycle Process |
The first procedure is to remove all the metal from the tyre (photo above), this is then sold for scrap metal, The tyres are then shredded (see below). |

| The end product (see below) is then sold for use in equestrian menages as an alternative for gravel. |
